The Community Thrift Store in Jasper is a service project of Hope congregation. Volunteers serve on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The volunteers sort and stock clothing items that will be sold in the store.
The Thrift Store, which has been in operation for many years, sells clothing and household goods at very low prices. All the proceeds go to organizations in Pickens County that help/aid persons of special need. Over one million dollars has been granted since it began operation.
